Men don't read?

A couple of years ago, Wired magazine had a report on what men between the ages of 18-34 do and do not do.  They love the internet and short forms of non human communication (66%) and video games (60%) and do not like to read books (46%) or magazines (43%) or go to bars (33%) or see movies (20%).  So essentially it seems that men prefer e-media and men who read books are a rare sector. Is this true?

If so, I have a rare man living in my home. Scott is constantly reading!

On my sons behalf I'm going to say it's true because one definition of rare is unusually excellent, admirable and fine. Yeah, they fit right in there.

Maybe most men don't respond to surveys--which would skew the results of the survey.
