74% said if they were forced to choose, they would prefer being alone and unloved (Eggerich, 49).Harley in his book, "His Needs, Her Needs" calls it admiration. Gary Rosberg calls it encouragement and affirmation. The Apostle Paul calls it respect in Eph. 5:33.
Nothing stokes a guy more than seeing his wife's eyes light up with admiration. And nothing tears at his soul like contempt and disrespect.

Great word yesterday Pr. Shawn....loved learning about how God designed my man so wonderfully different from me and how He gives us such a high calling to live the illustration of Christ's love for His bride. Thanks for loving your congregation enough to be preaching on the touchy stuff and not straying away from the hard subjects.
