Back Home from Canada eh!

On Thursday and Friday last week, I was in Fredericton NB and Bangor ME. We didn't know what it would be like since PCD isn't in the NE very often. I was overwhelmed by the packed house in both places. People came hungry to worship!

BTW, I didn't know robins were so big in Canada!

Wounded Healers, contd.

Last week I spoke about wounded healers here at home. On Friday, I met another one, a lady I'll call Lily. About 19 years ago, Lily's husband abandoned the marriage and left her alone with children. For 17 years she was a single Mom. Then she met a godly man and soon after they were married. And their ministry? To people recovering from divorce. She told me how they have ministered to at least 200 who have completed the divorce recovery course. God uses the broken places of our lives to heal others. That's what being a wounded healer is all about. Go Lily!
